Karbogel 60 is a nanoparticle-sized, chemically modified flow additive designed for use in both water-based and solvent-based ink and paint applications. This powder-based flow additive is suitable for incorporation during the mill base or grinding stage. When introduced to water-based ink or paint, it enhances flow, offers anti-sagging properties, and prevents the settling of minerals after dilution. In the context of solvent-based ink and paint, it ensures improved flow even in water-incorporated paint, maintains gloss, and prevents sagging.

KER 828 is a medium viscosity liquid epoxy resin produced from bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin. It contains no diluents. KER 828 provides good pigment wetting and good resistance to filler settling and a high level of mechanical and chemical resistance properties in the cured state. However, as an unmodified pure bisphenol A resin, KER 828 is prone to crystallize on storage, particularly in cold conditions. Note : KER 827 and 828 are unmodified resins of similar type and performance ; they offer the formulator a choice of viscosity.
