Riobent SD2 is a rheological additive made from bentonite clay, suitable for moderate to high polarity systems with solvents like ketones, esters, glycol ethers, and alcohols, including some aromatic solvents. It is easy to use, can be added dry during pigment grinding, and doesn't need a chemical activator or pregel preparation. It can also be used for post-correction.

It can be added as a powder to the millbase before or after pigment dispersion or during letdown.
Recommended dosages: - 0.15% to 0.2% in paint ,- 0.5% to 2% in primer
