Riobent 3452
Riobent 3452 rheological additive is a
general purpose organoclay designed for
low to medium polarity aliphatic and aromatic coating systems. It also works well in other high polarity systems. Riobent 3452 is suitable for addition in pre-mill base along with polar activator like any alcohol for formation of gel. But for better performance of Riobent 3452 preparation of pre-gel is suggested.

Effectively increases low shear and mid shear viscosity
Prevents minerals and inorganic pigment settling during storage
Controls flooding and floating of organic pigments
Offers an excellent sag resistance and flow & levelling properties
Stabilizes the paint and prevents excessive penetration of the liquid components into porous substrates
Dosages :
0.15% to 0.2% in paint
0.5% to 2% in primer
