PPA-7040
PPA 7040 is a Phenalkamine-based epoxy hardener known for its rapid cure at low temperatures and ability to cure under humid or damp conditions. It offers a workable pot life at low temperatures and exhibits excellent chemical, solvent, and water resistance. This hardener provides superior corrosion resistance, strong adhesion to mechanically cleaned surfaces, and very good flexibility. It is highly compatible with various epoxy resins and organic solvents, making it suitable for high solids or solvent-free marine coatings, pipeline and metal tank coatings, as well as protective and flooring coatings. It is also used in marine and industrial maintenance coatings and surface-tolerant primers for metallic substrates.
