Micronlite SPV is an innovative surface-activated thixotropic additive designed for solvent-based primers. This powder-based thixotropic additive is suitable for incorporation during the grinding stage. When introduced to solvent-based primers, it enhances viscosity. It can completely replace aluminum stearate in solvent-based primers. Unlike aluminum stearate, Micronlite SPV does not require heating to achieve the desired viscosity. As aluminum stearate is heat-dependent, it results in higher viscosity during summer and lower viscosity in winter, whereas Micronlite SPV provides consistent viscosity throughout the year.
