LC 80 Pigment is an innovative nanoparticle-sized opacifier for water and solvent-based inks and paints. It is a powder added during the mill base or grinding stage. With a refractive index of 2.1, compared to TiO2's 2.7, LC 80 offers improved dry opacity by efficiently spacing TiO2, reducing the need for TiO2. It can fully replace TiO2 in water-based primers and distemper, and replace 15% to 25% in water-based and solvent-based paints.
