Emucryl D is the sodium salt of polyacrylic acid, serving as a wetting and dispersing agent for water-based inks and paints. This aqueous agent is suitable for incorporation into pre-mill bases. When added to water-based paint as a replacement for Alfox 200, it prevents or reduces foam generation by 80-85%. Emucryl D offers the advantage of preventing an increase in viscosity during storage.
